Hezekiah— Dealing with Your Pride

  • So God loves me, but does he like me?

    How close to perfect do I have to be for his approval?

    · Best king of Judah ever

    · Remained faithful to the Lord in everything

    The Father, Son, and Spirit are growing me.

    Hezekiah’s growth area was his PRIDE.

    PRIDE ends in humiliation, while humility brings honor.

    Pride Interprets God’s Blessings As What I Deserve

    When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, “Remember, O LORD, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single-mindedly, always doing what pleases you.” Then he broke down and wept bitterly.
